THE AURORA INN

Stayed for a night during the winter. Even though they call themselves a motel, it’s definitely not a motel. The rooms are cozy and small, with a fireplace in one corner. While that looked very pretty, it made the bathroom freezing cold, with no heat. The best part if the man in building where you have games, coffee, snacks, and a good space to get together. If I have the chance, I would love to stay here again!

My fiancé and I have stayed here twice in different rooms and we loved it both times. The whole place is cozy and charming. I’ve definitely noticed that Kim (innkeeper) does a phenomenal job at cleaning the rooms/cottages, and the shared/common area. The snack/tea/coffee, area is well stocked with an assortment of refreshments. The sauna is a hugeee bonus as we both love using it, especially after a freezing hike. There’s also a pool which is closed during the cold months, but I am sure it is as nice as everything else here. Kim definitely works hard at making everyone feel comfortable, welcomed and satisfied during their stay. We can’t wait to stay here again soon! Would definitely recommend staying here solo, as a couple or with family/kids and friends.

My bestie and I stayed here for 2 days before going on a cruise through Canada and we are so happy we found this little gem! We will 100% be back for our full on New England road trip next year with friends. The property is adorable and close enough to all the things but far enough away from all the city hub bub. ||The caretakers, Jed and Kimberly, were beyond amazing! It was hard leaving such a great little spot.

Beds and pillows are comfortable, room is clean, area quiet. The sauna is why I came here, although it was very dark inside even with the 2 push lights on. [ it was dark outside as well ]. But it was still nice once it heated up. Just which I could see and didn't have to use my flashlight. It took about 15 mins to get to temp inside the sauna and was -1° outside. Great place.

Beautiful place! The good reviews here don't justify the experience! the Inn keepers are wonderful, the entire place is quiet and relaxing, great designed, and a dream getaway. The Sauna is a perfect touch and the Ski slopes are like 2 mins down the road!
