The Ashley Inn

DONT. Just DONT. Do not subject yourself to this misery. My husband has stayed here twice due to working out of town. And both times it was because all other hotels are booked to capacity in the area. First off, the sheets- FILTHY. Secondly, toilets are clogged, PRE ENTERING. Third, the dust is everywhere. Fourth, for some reason, the cleaning people I suppose just open the door, look in the room, blow some air out of their mouths and call it a day. Stains everywhere. Dust. Also, we're not sure if it was "complimentary" but the bed came with a used bar of soap just sitting pretty ready for someone to use it. My advice, spend the little extra money to stay somewhere else. Or drive an extra hour if necessary. And before anyone thinks anything, he did ask for new sheets to make the bed himse

This is not going to be a good review and I’m sorry, but this was the worst experience I’ve had at this hotel. And I’ve been staying here of and on for the last 25 years. I went to check in and We were told the rooms were clean and ready to be used. But they were by far from clean. We had room 211 and 213. I will cover them individually. 213 was supposed to be non-smoking. But there was an ashtray in the drawer of the nightstand in this room, reeked of cigarettes and The smoke detector is missing. Room 211 was much worse. There was rotting food in the dresser, beer caps on the floor under the ac. Someone’s underwear behind the bed and there were press on nails in the nightstand drawer. We went to Walmart and bought some cleaning supplies and cleaned our room. But I w

First off; cockroaches EVERYWHERE. Second, the room reeks of some otherworldly odor. Anyways, don’t stay here unless you want to get sick.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, bug free, and smelled good. They had a lot of channels on cable. It was within walking distance of 3 restaurants and it was very quiet and charming.

The stay was very nice. The rooms have new flooring and they are beautiful and very clean with no bed bugs or roaches.
