The American Hotel

My family had the perfect Thanksgiving weekend at The American Hotel. We rented the main house; with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, it is ideal for a large group, plus the kitchen was fully stocked with all the pans needed to cook a traditional Thanksgiving meal. While the main house's decor is contemporary, we simultaneously felt nostalgic, imagining that we were staying at an updated version of our grandpa's summer lake house. There is ample space to play games and also privacy available for when you're ready for a break. The lake is steps away, and there are beautiful views everywhere you look, plus conveniences like plenty of free parking and a super cute grocer/coffee shop, which is a stone's throw away. Lake Geneva is just a short drive away as well. I whole-heartedly recommend The A

Terese was a wonderful host—very responsive and easy to communicate with. Check-in was seamless, and the entire stay was great. I stayed in the Parent Trap Suite, and the theme was executed in a really elegant way. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area!
