The 5th Street Inn

This is our 3rd time staying at The 5th Street Inn (2006, 2019, 2025) - it's our favorite place in Greenville! We had the Chancellor's Room on the 3rd floor and it was perfect. Very spacious with a king sized bed, desk, couch, 2 tv's, full private bathroom and a very well stocked kitchenette. The room was spotless and I appreciate NO fragrances that most places use. Check in was super easy, the Innterns sent well timed texts, we loved the convenient location to ECU's campus and walking distance to downtown's eateries. Highly recommend and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

This time I had a new room, a new experience! I have stayed here many times before, but always in the main house. This time I had my own cottage around the back, well stocked with eats and drinks and everything I needed. The building is one of the elegant houses opposite the older part of the University. It’s been renovated into a modern, airy space.

The 5th street Inn is a gem! I love staying here when I visit my son at ECU. It is convenient and charming. I love being able to walk downtown or to my son's house. It's run by student interns who are very responsive.

The house was interesting, and the room was well-furnished and clean. The bed was comfortable and we could control the temperature in the room. The only downside was that the breakfast was rather skimpy for the price, but it was located near the people we were visiting. The owners were easy to be in touch with and very accommodating. We would stay there again.

A great stay in a great location! We stayed with our daughter after a ECU tour and the location is wonderful. It is a very quiet location and convenient to everything on campus. Although I never saw the staff - all communication was via text - they were very responsive and helpful, even giving great recommendations for food and activities. The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
