I know Texas 4S is really known for its incredible deer hunting, however, this week’s dove hunting was off the charts! Coming in late Sunday evening at midnight, we were treated to very comfortable sleeping accommodations at the 125 year old “Post Office”, with the A/C already at a great temp, and a personal welcome tour to get us settled in. We hit the fields early Monday morning after fresh hot coffee and there was no shortage of birds. Our guide, Steve Mooney, is one of the finest bird guides and devout Christians I know, having been on multiple upland hunts with him before. The next two days we saw plentiful birds at three different locations and would have limited out if we had shot better. He put us on them and we came home with plenty of game. Best Whitetail hunting ever in the great state of Texas! Texas 4S is ran by the Sharp family and they are the most loving and caring people you will ever meet.
It was great experience with even better people!
This is the most amazing place but it is the people there that make it amazing!
Best place to go for a white tail hunt.
