Texas 281 RV Park

We loved our stay at this park! Everyone was so amazing! I think I met a new friend in the office everyday I went in. We luckily got a really nice spot because someone canceled. So we were right by 2 club houses and laundry and showers and the dumpsters. This place has some full time residence so they are super reliant on the rules which we loved. I working in your car or trailer in the park. And make sure to clean up after your dog! Rebecca was amazing and always helpful! Mary knew what she was doing always and made life easier. This park was like a community. They have a monthly calendar!!! Which included bingo night. Spaghetti night. Bible study (they even have their own chapel!!!) and my favorite birthday party every first Tuesday!!! Since it’s my birthday month it was magical 😍 Th

Sweet RV park. Clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our schedule changes we had both apon arrival and our early departure. Price was very reasonable and compared to other parks in the vicinity, by far affordable. Thank You 281, we will be back.

After reading reviews on other sites, we decided to stay at this park. It doesn't have a lot of frills; no pool or playground. It does have a dog run and nature trails. ||Most spaces are rented to long-term residents who are retired. They are very friendly; they appear to look out for one another and want to see the park remain nice. ||||Upon check-in, we were escorted to our site. The man who checked us in helped us navigate safely and helped us park. Our site was level, and we felt we had adequate space. We enjoyed the picnic table very often. ||||There are lots of beautiful and mature trees. They offer great shade, but are groomed enough that they didn't threaten our camper. ||||The park is very clean. I did not use the showers, but we did use the commodes a few times. The b

Love this RV park! Every single person we communicated with Texas 281 was so kind and helpful. Great shaded spots, functional bathrooms/showers/laundry, and tons of activities! If we ever travel back this way this is 100% where we will stay.
