Tequesta Palms Inn

We stayed three nights during the week. The room was adequate and very clean when we arrived. It’s an older, motel-style setup where you park right in front of your door. Small place, maybe eight rooms, and generally quiet. Housekeeping was the frustrating part. I emailed to request service and someone brought fresh towels. It looked like other rooms were being cleaned that morning, and I was told someone would come by, but our room was never cleaned at any point during the three-night stay. Temperature control was also an issue. Even in late February, the room felt warmer than outside with the window A/C running. Clean on arrival, but the lack of housekeeping and the difficulty cooling the room took away from what could have been a much better stay.

We came here for a few nights to explore the area. The room was super clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. There are little areas to sit around the grounds that are private. My now fiancé chose one of them to propose to me. ||Only trouble we had was with the door lock at the beginning but it was remedied asap. I would highly recommend staying here. It’s a throwback to vintage Florida but modernized.

Locked out of our room on Christmas Eve with no access till late morning on Christmas. Security deposit took almost a month to be returned. No on site help to fix door malfunction and no off site help by phone or email. Disappointing. NAUGHTY LIST. Go elsewhere.

I booked this hotel roughly 7 weeks in advance. The front desk couldn't get the payment to work through booking dot com, so they requested I book it through Air be and be (misspelled on purpose). That was my first mistake! With four week to go until our stay, my wife's 39-year-old boss was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and has just a few months to live. The company froze all vacation time while my wife assumes the role to help her dying co-worker out. I gave the hotel a one-month notice of this heart-wrenching issue, but they refused to refund a dime. When I called a Hispanic lady on the phone told me they would take care of the full refund, but then she directed me to the "official" cancel online. Air be and be (again, misspelled on purpose) gave me $66 back out of an almost $600 bill.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming little motel! The rooms exuded a fresh ambiance, clearly having been recently remodeled, and impeccably clean. Esperanza, with her prompt and welcoming communication via text, made our check-in and overall experience a breeze. The thoughtful touches really set this place apart – complimentary water, snacks, and toiletries added a wonderful touch of hospitality. It's evident that the staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. We're already looking forward to our next visit to town and won't hesitate for a moment to choose this gem. Kudos to Esperanza and the entire team for creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere!
