Teepee Rocks

Definitely recommend taking a SUV. We took my little Toyota Camry and made it past the lake but decided to hop in with my sister in her SUV. The road is really rough but drivable. Also you'll come up on some rocks that look like the "Main" ones but keep going through the gate to the dirt road on the right and park, take a short hike up the dirt road and the rock formations are amazing. Could be hard for someone handicap. If you had a ATV you could drive all the way to the rocks.

Cool place, not a well traveled to sight, we had the place to ourselves to hike around and explore. There are quite a few rocks to explore. They very much resemble rhe shape of TeePees thus the name. These aren't rock climbing rocks like the city of rocks but they are very cool and worth an afternoon outing. The road is dirt and rock, a vehicle with good clearance is recommended, as sometimes the road is not in great shape.

It’s a long, rocky rough road. I’d advise a higher clearance vehicle. You can drive half to the main rock formations then you have to walk. But it’s worth the walk. Teepee Rocks are awesome. I’m not sure how they formed but they are pretty cool.

Great place, I will go again at sunset for golden hour. I will also try astrophotography at this site

Interesting rock formations. Shameful that so many people feel the need to carve their names into the rocks.
