Teague Motel

I think this place could use some major remodeling. The owners should try and get a loan so they can provide their guests with a safer amount of security for your belongings while you stay here. They charge you more than the better motels in Mexia just 15 or less minutes west on 84 and you have to provide a $5 deposit for your key which anyone can go make copies of and use to rob their visitors while away from their rooms. Not to mention, the room I stayed in had two beds that appeared clean but smelled of smoke. The furniture which was one chair and two side tables had burn wholes that covered 90% of the surface. There were no batteries in the tv remote and no wifi available that I was aware of or at least I wasn't told I had wifi access and I didn't find a passcode anywhere in the room

This place sucks. It is overpriced at 50t dollars a night. There is only 1 channel on the tv and you definately do not want to walk barefoot on the nasty extremely stained carpet. No phone in room so dont expect a wakeup call. No lamp in room either..so dont plan to read. I give this motel a less than 1. Not American owned.

Ok I didnt even stay here. I just called to check the rates. Someone picked up the phone and didnt say a word. I said, hello? Then I hear yeah? I'm like... ok is this the Teague motel? ..... yeah. I'm like ok do you have weekly rates? $300 a week. I'm like ok is that for a one bed room? ....No one bedrooms 300 a week. I just hung up the phone. Flying red flags all over the place. I'm good on it.

half of the rooms are ok and half look like a 1970's cocaine room. Tvs barely work. Doesn't appear clean. Drains clogged. Over priced for what you get. No phones. The window units are ancient. Honestly, just go to Mexia or Fairfield. It's cheaper and better quality.

It's affordable, clean, & the manager is always ready to help out any way he can.
