Tazewell Motor Lodge

We were on our way home from Pigeon Forge on January 8th, when the transmission started acting up, just as a major winter storm would immediately be impacting travel. I decided to take back roads at a max speed of 45, in second gear (all that worked). We ended up stranded on the side of 25E in a puddle of transmission fluid. It took several hours to get a tow, and he was limited on the distance he could haul us. We were unloaded in the parking lot of the Motor Lodge. Patrick (the owner) is an angel. Period. He was so sympathetic to our plight he drove us to the grocery store on the first day. We were there for 2 nights. The second day, he took us to a U-haul lot and waited for us to get the key, then followed us back to the lodge. We had spent the night before the storm at the Christmas

Patrick and his sister are always friendly and fun. Clean rooms! This is our favorite stop! We truly appreciate you accommodating us Pennsylvanians that never make reservations.

I was in Tazewell to visit my parents, and my brother said this motel is the best of the ones in town, so I went there to get a room, not knowing what to expect. The owners, Pinky & Patrick, are supernice. I was surprised by how spacious the room was. As a family-run motel, it was a very traditional motel and felt like traveling in time to "the good old days," which made for a cozy vibe that I really enjoyed. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The TV had a perfect picture and a ton of channels available, though all I watched was the Florida vs. Miami football game and slept the rest of the time, getting some of the very best sleep of my life. The next morning, I took a shower, checked out, and rode off to visit my parents. It was definitely a 5-star stay.

I was in Tazewell for a Christmas Mission trip called The Love Project. My room was very clean, warm and comfortable including lots of hot water in the shower! Patrick, the owner, was genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful in giving directions, etc. The Lodge was 5 minutes from the Armory, where a the Love Project was held. In a rush to leave, I accidentally left my favorite pillow. When I called, he quickly responded and then mailed my pillow to me.|He said we would “settle up” once I received my pillow. When I called to thank and repay him, he would not accept any money. ||Although this is not the Ritz, their service and cleanliness is absolutely Five Star Plus! If you are looking for a budget friendly, honest, clean and reputable place to stay, I HIGHLY recommend this fami

I don't usually love staying at motels but this place was much nicer than most. The owner Patrick was so accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you're passing through.
