Taylorsville Motel

It was a nice place considering I'm a contractor coming into town working on apartments. So it was a good price for the evening, not too bad. And it was kind of nice and close to food. So, and they went out of their way to make sure I was happy. So thank you.

I was caught in a rain storm on my motorcycle at the end of the day. Wanted to make it to Wilkesboro and get a room there, but the rain really wouldn’t stop. Came here because I was less than two miles away camped under the roof of a bank drive through and asked to see the room first. The room was fine, and it was only $70.00 with tax. It was clean. No bugs, roaches, or bedbugs. A great place to crash for the night if you are passing through town. FYI - they do not have ice.

The rooms are nice enough the location is right one main st service was fast and friendly. My only complaint is the bathroom it requires updating and for some reason there is a full size refrigerator in the room.

If you want privacy this is the place. If you want nice rooms you may want to look elsewear. But at leazt its in town and not the boonies. Owners are nice so thata a plus but the police like to have a strong presence thats a minus bit you may lime the security according to your preferences. Best for quick o e night stays.

Well, for less than $60 a night I am not sure what I expected exactly but it was definitely more than what I got. THERE ARE ROACHES HERE, so be aware of that. The over head lights in our room did not work, nor did a couple of the outlets in the room. There was a lot of mold in the bathroom and honestly, the bathroom area looked a lot like a county jail or prison. The bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows were stained and very worn out. Also, when I arrived there was people, I’m assuming that was also staying here, outside yelling and fighting, this was very late at night or early morning, whichever you consider 3am to be. The best thing about the room, or the room I was in (21), was definitely the air conditioner. Would not recommend.
