Just to qualify my review, I have never camped here. I live near by and I am there all the time, daily and sometimes more. It is a primitive campground and the lone pit toilet is poorly maintained. There are few level spots. There are a lot of campers who did not sign up for a site. Sometimes there are campers who appear to be homeless and stay for weeks. A lot of day fishing people visit from time to time. A lot of the people who visit do not cleanup after themselves. My wife and I are saddened by how much litter we need to carry out simply because we like to visit and not see the trash. I have no doubt however that you could have an enjoyable stay here so long as you can look past the problems and enjoy the view and the lake. If you want to launch a boat though you better have

Had a great time fishing and camping beautiful spot. With that said, you will be ruffing it. It's true camping. I wouldn't take an RV down there it is a bit rough getting down the road very tight.

Camped at the dead end spot. Had to pick up a lot of trash: liquor bottles, food containers, beer cans, etc ... After I cleaned up the site, the view of the water was great. I stayed Monday through Thursday and it was ok most of the time. Plenty of wood to gather and plenty of area for fire. I camped alone and got creeped out by a guy that seemed to be looking for a prostitute named Christine that some other dude supposedly sent him to find! He first showed up vibing all gross on Monday as I set up camp. Ew ew ew! He came back later on Thursday and just parked at a site without camping. I packed up and left that day. On Tuesday night a group of partiers showed up after 11:00 pm and decided to enter the water where I camped. It was disturbing to hear their chatter and what seemed like sex

Nice quiet place to camp... would not take big camper down hill ... road to camp area curvy with drop offs & no guardrails. There is only one porta potty, no sink (so no place to wash hands or take showers).

Great location right on Lake Cumberland. We had a great time relaxing and enjoying nature.
