Customer Reviews
My daughter and I arrived from Texas to ski Red River. The drive was nice to Red River daily. We went one night to Taos to eat dinner. Great location to be in the peaceful countryside. We loved seeing the animals and several cats. We even saw a huge Mule deer buck one evening. We had a great stay with Taos Goji Retreat & Cabins. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook breakfast every morning. Especially having a gas stove/oven. We slept great and plenty warm. Perfect for 2 people. It was clean, well furnished, and cozy. Recommend this place highly!
We had a brief stay in the Huxley cabin. My wife has asthma and the strong wood smoke aroma permeating the cabin (likely caused by decades of fires in the non-airtight wood stove) caused her to struggle breathing, so we left after one night out of a three night booking. I can’t comment on the other cabins but the Huxley cabin is rustic in a very rough and ready way. Comfortable and clean—no issues there—but tired and worn and not accurately represented in the website photos. Everything works after a fashion—except the smoke detector which was dead (the battery had a 2018 due date) which is a potentially dangerous oversight.||Yet, the place has rustic charm and a very interesting backstory and history. San Cristobal is not Taos, and the Goji Farm is not the Taos Inn. It is a quiet and
Our wedding at the Taos Goji Berry Farm was everything I could have ever dreamed of! Honestly, it felt like stepping into a fairytale. The entire property is surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, peaceful fields, and the kind of natural beauty that makes you stop and take it all in. Everywhere you look, there’s something charming. From the hummingbirds darting between flowers, alpacas, chickens wandering, Doris Day the donkey braying in the distance, and friendly cats keeping you company. The little chapel on the property is beautiful and full of character, and the barn was the perfect space for our reception (and it turns out it’s also the perfect place to play chess!). We had a vintage airstream taco truck parked nearby, and it fit the setting perfectly. Fun, relaxed, and completely
Beautiful and peaceful setting with comfortable, private rooms. We enjoyed interacting with the farm animals and very much appreciated the hot tub and sauna. Great location 15-20 minutes outside of Taos in close proximity to National Forest hiking, biking and 4x4 trails.
Can’t speak highly enough of this wonderful space. J stayed in the artists retreat which was secluded in the back of the property. The entire cabin was spotless, and came with its own private wood burning sauna and a hottub. Firewood was a plenty, and the beds were heaven. Super dog friendly, and close enough to the ski resort. If I’m ever skiing in Taos again, I’m coming back here!
