Tanglewood Camping

We just spent 4 days at Tanglewood Campsite. They are an A-One Campground! We stayed at site 122. Top notch! Clean bathrooms! Thank you Tanglewood Campground!

We just had a wonderful stay at Tanglewood Camping. The grounds were very nicely maintained and the facilities were very clean and in perfect working order. The staff of Tanglewood was nothing but fantastic: They all were very friendly and attentive, never making us feel like we were bothering them or that they were 'put-out' to be of assistance. The fellow campers were all very friendly and the folks who were obviously seasonal campers were very welcoming and made us feel part of the group. No-one was loud, rowdy, belligerent, overly-intoxicated, or inconsiderate of others. People all drove their vehicles and golf carts quietly, slowly and respectfully to others. The kids at the playground and the swimming area were all well-mannered, welcoming and friendly to both our children.

This campground is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been to. Very clean. Super friendly people! We did not realize there would be a Halloween themed event weekend until we arrived. We booked with this campground because we wanted a place to camp at one last weekend before camping season was over for us. Experience in this campground felt like it was something straight out of a Hallmark movie! My whole family is deaf, everyone welcomed us regardless and didn't treat us differently. We truly enjoyed our time there very much and definitely plan on coming back!

Can't say enough good things about this place. The grounds are nicely maintained, amenities are within a close distance of each other, and our cabin was clean and kept up well. My family and I enjoyed an amazing week and can't wait to come back. We found the staff and other guests to be extremely friendly. The prices for the boat & peddle cart rentals were very fair. Loved fishing on the lake, great catches too! Thank you Tanglewood!

This is an perfect place for family! There is a playground a fairly good-sized Pond where the kids and adult can go swimming. Very clean, friendly and welcoming environment. Homey is the word!. The rest rooms are clean and so is the laundry room. Office staff helpful answered all questions quickly. The only downside is there was a lot of smoke in the Park from all the campfires. And if you are sensitive to that you might think twice before coming here at least that is our experience on a Friday and Saturday night. Other than that we highly recommend this place you will enjoy it and you won't be sorry that you came.
