Tampa Airport Marriott

This location can’t be beat if you have an early flight or land late. The convenience of walking out of your room and being through security in 20 minutes is amazing. We stayed in a renovated King room and it was very nice. It was clean and perfect for an overnight stay. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is only a normal outlet on one side of the bed which we found weird. But I would stay here again in the future. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, as was the attendant doing valet.

Positive: conveniently located 7 minutes from baggage check and 3 minutes from airport tram to get to our gate. we were hoping to use the outdoor pool but it was unseasonably cool and too cold to swim. Negative: rooms were small. carpet could've been swept better.

If you need convenience and comfort for an early flight out of Tampa, look no further. We walked out of our room, through security, and to our departure gate in ten minutes. I want to credit Jade in the Concierge Room for her impeccable hospitality and customer service. Room was super luxurious. Thank you Marriott!

I flew up just for the evening from South Florida. I had an event in the area to attend that evening, still needed to get some work done and take an early flight out the next day. It hit all my requirements and needs. Easy access from the terminal - great for arrival and departing. Access to all landside foot options in the airport. Great views of the runways, terminals. A full gym I used both days I was there. A separate entrance for uber, etc. which is great because the terminal gets REALLY busy. My hotel room was ready on arrival and they have a bar/restaurant open late. Room was comfortable. Price is competitive, but a bit heavier than some Westshore properties (less than downtown) but you're paying for convenience on this one. Only downside is you sort of are landlocked a

Had an early morning flight home and didn’t want to deal with a 4AM drive up I75. Surprised how awesome this setup was. Pulled up front with rental car and they let me head up to registration and then take our bags up to the room. Took the rental back around the corner basically and took the train back to the terminal. Walked inside the terminal straight to the Marriott and had a great meal and some drinks at their restaurant. Room was just refurbished on the 4th floor and was perfectly quiet for a good sleep. Woke up, walked across and down to ticketing like we woke up inside the airport…it is attached and that close. Would recommend for those early morning flights or if you don’t want to feel rushed or worry about traffic. Great experience.
