Tamarac Resort & Campground LLC

Had a great time boating on the pontoon and doing some fishing! The lake was soooooo clean. Everything at Tamarac was spotless from the grounds to the lodge to the cabins. Every amenity you can think of was available. Great place for families and fishing trips or just to get some quality R&R. Beach was also very clean, picnic tables for all sizes, and even has a designated swim area away from the boat launch. Very tranquil and peaceful with incredible views of nature (eagles especially) and wildlife. Plenty of space for kids to run in the multiple playground areas. Didn't get to play tennis or basketball but could have! Lots of fun events for young kids and even some cute beach/water toys like the swimming turtles that the kids can take out on the water. I’ve never stayed at the resort but I did one time recently try to pick up my family from swimming in a boat by their tamarac docks. Some guy with a gray shaded beard and a hat with sunglasses claiming he own the place came out saying “it’s a resort and I couldn’t drop off my kids.” I wasn’t trying to drop off my kids. All I was trying to do is get them back in the boat so we go back to our house which was on the other side of the lake. The hostility is repulsive and I can’t stand that side of the lake. This is the reason why we live on the other side of the lake. I hope the owners see this review!!!!!! Horrible!!!!!!!!!

Love this place! Great location with a lake that is nice and quiet. The resort grounds immaculate! The owners take great pride in making sure everything looks good and is safe for everyone. If you have kids, this is a great place. Many different playgrounds and nice beach. Owners add something new almost each year. We have made some life long friends here. Large private seasonal spots. It’s not field where you can touch your neighbor like some other seasonal resorts. Cabins are great if you are looking for a getaway!

We have had a seasonal spot at the resort since 2013 and have had a great experience here. Randy and Shelia maintain the resort to the highest standard and provide a great family atmosphere. The playgrounds and water toys for the kids can keep them happy. The boat launch is one of the best I have encountered and the lake provides good fishing. All in all it is a great spot for a good family summer stay.

We have had our camper at Tamarac Resort and Campground for about 7 years now. We absolutely love going to the lake as many weekends as we can in the summer months. The campground is beautiful and very well taken care of. Many playgrounds and things to do for the kids (very kid friendly resort). Nice big dog park to let the pups run. Tennis and basketball court. Numerous canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boards for people to use along with life jackets. They also have cabins for rent if you need that option. We have loved our time at Tamarac and have made many wonderful lifelong friends along the way. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a place to camp. Whether you are looking for a cabin for a week or a spot to spend the whole summer, give then a call!!!
