Tallapoosa River RV and Outdoor Center

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Tallapoosa River RV and Outdoor Center! Even though we were just passing through for a night, the experience was fantastic. Our camper is on the larger side, and the pull-through spots right at the front made it super easy for us to park and head out early the next morning. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the lady who greeted us was so friendly and made sure we knew to just reach out if we needed anything. The park itself was spotless and spacious. We noticed they have a laundry facility, a play area, and clean bathrooms, which is always a plus. If we’re ever back in the area, we’d definitely stay here again. Five stars!

Our family called Tallapoosa River home while we looked for land. It was great having a family owned campground in the area with very personal customer service. The campground is quaint, clean, family friendly and just downright beautiful! This campground has full hookup spots, tent sites, platfrom cabins, very clean bath houses, a laundry room, storefront with essentials, playground, pickleball/basketball court, small bridge to swimming hole on the river and much more. Apart from that, you will thoroughly enjoy the peaceful sound of the river with incredible views! If you are looking for a perfect getaway spot or just stopping through, you won't regret it. We will certainly be taking many stay-cations in the future at TROC! 🩷

We really like this rv park! Robin in the office is kind and thoughtful. She texted us to make sure we knew of the cold temps we'd have the night of our stay so we'd be prepared. She also stopped by our site after we arrived to make sure everything was working for us and to see if we needed anything. Our site (16) was a pull-through which made for an easy departure the next morning since we didn't have to unhook our toad. It was a gravel site. The bath house has private bathrooms with showers, and they are kept very clean. The office will lend out equipment for checkout for pickle ball, basketball, corn hole, yard darts, and Kan-jam. It is very quiet at night. The price is also reasonable. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

We really enjoyed the two separate times we stayed at the campground. We stopped in for one night each time. Check in was very simple. The owners are great! It's convenient to I-20, but far enough away that you don't hear road noise. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We'll definitely go back in the summer to take advantage of the river activities. An unexpected perk was the night sky; I don’t think I've seen the stars look more beautiful.

This is a beautiful campground! We stayed two nights. It has full hook ups, and the campsites are awesome. On a special note, I hurt my back and could not get out as fast as we liked and they granted us a couple extra hours to help me get my prescription filled and get on our way! Easy to navigate our fifth wheel of 35 feet. And it’s a beautiful property with rolling grass hills. Special thanks to Robyn!
