Take It Easy Cabin

Updated for trip July 2025. We really enjoy this cabin and it's become our go to cabin rental. The hot tub had an issue with the jets not working and when the button was pushed, water shot into the sky and that caused the water level to go down. Definitely should be fixed because hot tubs are a main draw to the cabin. A rag was stuffed down into an opening, to try and seal, but that didn't do anything. The picnic table had a chunk missing but didn't affect us at all. A lot of the flooring was unlocking but again, didnt bother us at all. We like how each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom. This was a great visit. The cabin sits in the back of the resort and it was very quiet. The cabin was very nice and had everything you needed in the kitchen. The deck was nice and had a great view

The lay out and size were great. The cleaning was probably more like 1- 2 stars. Two of the 3 shower curtains had black mold on them, the stove was greasy and smeared and the surfaces had crumbs on them. One of the bathrooms had 2 USED bars of soap in the shower. One shower curtain rod was just resting on the trim. There were several light bulbs burnt out. We saw and caught 2 cockroaches.The picnic table needs to replaced/repaired. We did enjoy the hot tub. To summarize, the cleanliness was horrible. We were happy with the price but we expected basic cleaning to be executed much better. Also happy that we had the option to bring our dog. Still had a magnificent girls get away.

The cabin itself was good for the price...loved the fact that we could bring our dog..worth the extra$$$.. we were respectful of the owners wishes..and kept her off the furniture and in her cage when we went kayaking... but.. 2 of the 3 bathrooms had bad mold on the liners of the shower curtians..not just a little there was a lot of mold in the showers... the cleaning people left behind 2 used bars of soap in one of the showers...the countertops were dirty with crumbs and dirt... the table outside needs to be power washed and repaired.. the beds were Comfortable and clean... hot tub was perfect. TV and WiFi perfect. All in all it was a great time.. I just think they need to pay more attention to the cleaning and several of the light bulbs were burnt out.

We've stayed in the "Take It Easy" cabin is in the resort area near their main office, south of the Parkway. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and has 4 queen beds (3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms). Kitchen appliances, dishes, pans and utensils in great shape. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was VERY CLEAN. We didn't want to leave. The Natural Bridge State Park is only about 10 min away. The staff here was very responsive to our needs and questions. I feel like we made friends even through having to make some changes during our stay. We plan on coming back to the area and staying here again.

The cabin was nice but seemed a bit neglected. We had some issues related to management upon arrival, such as the hot tub being drained a couple hours before we arrived and no wifi. We didn't use the hot tub the night of our arrival bc the temperature was not warm enough. We also fixed the wifi after the maintenance man came and did not fix it. He did bring a battery so we could use the fireplace and was able to fix one of the tvs. The cabin itself was lovely but again neglected. We had eight towels for six people so we had to wash towels after getting out of the hot tub each night so we could use them in the morning for showers. The dining table was great size but one chair broke with my 45 lb 7 year old sitting in it. The bench down one side was so wobbly that we only let one person si
