Tahoe Chaparral

Check-in took a bit because there wasn’t anyone onsite. It was over the phone and they were very busy. Got to the unit tied and hungry. Wanted to heat up some leftovers in the microwave and it wasn’t working. Furniture was put up like they were winterizing the unit. Completely dissatisfied with our choice to stay here.

The rooms are excellent. The management is AWFUL. I arrived there at 1 AM. i could not find the cottage. Finally, found that it was the only cottage at the bottom, going down 38 steep steps in an ill lit area! wonder if i should sue them for not letting us know. The response of the person at 1 AM was we shall refund and go and sleep somewhere else! Same response from other staff in the morning. No one cared to ask if they could help to move the luggage to the room. we had to control as we did not want out holidays to be ruined. The rooms were great. THe ktichen had outdated cutlery, the appliances were very noisy and cheap ones. No sense of hospitality at all.

Great forest location approximately a mile from the lake. Beautiful views from the balcony of our unit. Fresh mountain air in a friendly romantic environment.

The view of Lake Tahoe from our balcony made the whole trip very worthwhile. The time-share condo was well kept and well equipped with a living room providing a pull out couch, fireplace, dining room and full kitchen on the main "walk in" floor.|Down a flight of stairs, the two bedrooms each with a queen bed were quite comfortable. The master suite has a bathroom with shower right off the bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is a very short walk to the hallway 2nd bathroom with a tub. In the hallway are a stacked washer and dryer. Closets were plentiful. TV's in each bedroom and the living room.Clean and neat, we had everything we needed for our stay. Extra supplies were just a short walk away to the check in office. We learned quickly to shop for our food at the Dollar General and Walmart in Carson C

Very comfortable and very calm place. Close to the diamond Mountain Ski Resort. A little bit out of the way if you were planning to go downtown, you really need to drive everywhere
