Syracuse Sand Dunes Park Camping

For the middle of nowhere, this place is pure gold. It has great potential. Syracuse and the owners of the property are gracious enough to open this place to the public. I'd like to see the public care more about this place and its ecosystems. Yesterday, s we went fishing the, e and I picked up two garbage bags of tra, h and there was a surprising number of used baby diapers on the edge of the water. Y'all clean up your dang mess ya nasties

We stayed for a night, and I wish we hadn't. The bathrooms were perhaps the most disgusting I've ever seen- a vault toilet would be better. Literal sewage coming out of the men's toilet, with all the smell in the womens. Trash is everywhere, and it's obvious none of it is cleaned. Broken glass was all over our site. This place has great potential but simply isn't cared for adequately.

Great place,good fun with a lake to swim in. Riding was 10 out of 10 if you like sand

We did not camp here. Just had lunch and explored and watched kids having fun in the water. Looks perfect for trail riding in the dunes. Not far off main highway. Lots of shade trees. Store for supplies. Scenic. Another great spot in Kansas!

This is the sort of place you move to a town for .. what a great place to go open your toys up .. y'all are blessed to have this in your town!
