Sylvester Inn

Rooms were clean and comfortable with updated furniture. Beds were average. Reasonable water pressure in shower. You can *actually* close the doors quietly! Towels and other linens were adequate. There were some issues, but I'd consider them minor considering the budget price - this my four star rating. The television set up is overly complicated. There's an instruction card in the room, but the process didn't work. Had to change rooms in order to get a working television system. Another issue is that the "front desk" is a small vestibule separated by glass that becomes an absolute sweatbox in the evening hours. The glass is also hard to hear through, and though largely courteous, the operator's accent is very difficult to understand in this situation. Please start opening the lobby door

This is now Sylvester Inn. My family recently stayed there. We booked 4 rooms, We all were very pleased with the service and etc.||They have remodeled and changed the name. The rooms were freshly painted. They were clean. The bedding was clean. They were curtest and responded to your request immediately. ||I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.||Don't believe any negative comments. Those were old and before the renovations.

Bait and switch at its finest! The photos were a lie. I'm old-school, I like to check out the amenities before booking. Guess what? The couch I paid for was nowhere to be found. Management couldn't care less, so I'm hitting them with a credit card chargeback. This will give them 5 seconds to think about what a customer is looking for when booking and hopefully keep their listings honest! Some call me the community service worker no one asked for.

Management is very friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns. I really appreciate the re-modeling for the rooms - Everything is updated and it's a nice place to stay. Evenings were quiet which is a huge plus when you're trying to sleep. I don't think you can beat the price & rooms anywhere else in Sylvester or the neighboring towns! We'll definitely stay here next time we're in town too.

I have not seen any bugs! Room service comes every day with fresh clean towels and cleans my room! Spectacular service! I am a travel nurse and I drive into Albany to work. The commute is easy and without hassle about 30 minutes. There are fast food resteraunts mostly in the town of Sylvester but a barbeque place that good for take out with good prices! There is a walmart just down the road also! I feel very safe here! Thank you for taking such good care of me!
