The road leading to Tawakoni has potholes and are rough. We have been here so many times that we tend to disregard it given that the lake and the place is beautiful. The people at the ticket counter and everyone are very nice. We have camped here and have picnic days. Never had a bad moment. Skip going on public holidays though, they tend to sell out on reservations and are way too crowded to enjoy the place.
I came here with the homies to experience a planetary alignment.
Great atmosphere very well upkept
