Me and my husband stayed here for 2 and a half months, we were in town for his work. We absolutely loved our time here by far one of my favorite campgrounds we’ve stayed in. Very chill environment and the owner is very nice! We will definitely be staying again if we ever find our way back in or around the area. Thank y’all so much!!
Stayed here over night on our way to Florida conveniently right off rt 26 nice simple relaxing will stay again
I would like to give an honest review of this campground because I rely on other peoples’ reviews to choose campgrounds that I have not been to before. I cannot in good faith recommend this campground to anyone. I called the week ahead to confirm that reservations were not required. I spoke with a lovely lady who shared reservations were not required and that their campground never fills up. (However I will have to say the night that I arrived, there were very few spaces left.) I told her I had read good reviews and that we were local and were excited to come. ||My first impression - I would prefer to camp under the stars. Instead, at this campground you camp under a light pole at each campsite. We also like to have a fire ring to have a fire going to cook our food, but not at this campgr
Sweetwater Lake is amazing! The glamping tent is so nice. They provide everything you need and then some. Fishing is great. Bathhouse is clean. It's very quiet. Owners are very friendly and the prices are absolutely amazing. We loved it. Can't wait to go back.
What an absolutely wonderful experience! I needed to get away from my house because I lost my wife February 2024 and it was just a bad week so I told Google I wanted a campground with water access and this was the first one that came up. Olivia and Chris are some of the most wonderful people I've ever met, that lake is slam full full of big mouth bass! I must have caught 16, I'mma Catch and Release kind of guy so they're still out there! If you guys want to camp and fish this is the place to go it's gorgeous!
