Sweet Water RV Park

Stayed here for the first time Oct. 2-5. Beautiful campground that is well taken care by super friendly and welcoming staff. The park is quiet and secluded but also conveniently located near SML with many restaurants and shopping options nearby. The campground is dog friendly with three beautiful dog parks on site. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to camp in the Moneta area.

Me and the wife camped there very recently and was very impressed with the cleanliness and flatness of the full service sites! we felt very safe with the speed limit allowed and with the character of the folks they let camp there. If we are ever up that way again we will try to camp there again!

We came up from Georgia for the weekend, this place was amazing in everything the service was too notch, the bathroom was the cleanest I've ever seen in an RV Park. Georgia definitely could learn a few things from this place. If we ever come back to Virginia this is where we'll stay for our trip

Ok, we have never been camping in a camper, we have always used tents and we never went in the cold weather. A friend of ours who lives in kingsland Ga had a 27' 2021 jayco and upgraded. She needed someone to take her old camper to her son near Bedford Va. Me and the wife decided to do it and make it a short family getaway. We decided to make the drive there Friday 1/30/26 stay at Sweetwater friday night, Saturday night and deliver the camper Sunday morning since our final destination was only 20 mins from the park. We left early that friday morning from Brunswick Ga and arrived 9½ hours later. There was already snow on the ground from the previous weekend storm and another was approaching. We called in advance to let them know we would be there between 6- 6:30 that afternoon since their

I really can't say enough good things about this RV park. It is amazing! The pool, the dog parks, the laundry services on site. Allll amazing! But the very best thing about Sweetwater is the owners. Shannon and Emmit are so nice! So accommodating. We have been here a couple months, but we already feel like family. John is equally as wonderful. As is Lee. They all work together to ensure everyone's stay is stress free. 5 stars, all day....everyday!
