My wife and I spent the weekend for an anniversary trip at the end of July. Lovely, well-restored historic farm home run by a delightful couple. Jackie and Gene made sure we had everything we needed, offered complimentary wine in the evening, and served delicious breakfasts in the morning (if you have any preferences, just let them know). We enjoyed chatting with them and learning about the area, and appreciated having the hot tub out back, even on a warm summer night. The large jacuzzi tub in our Taylor Suite looked very inviting as well--next time! An easy walk to any place in Augusta. We look forward to returning!

The home was beautiful and the hosts were so kind and accommodating. Had such a lovely and relaxing stay after a long couple of days of riding bikes on the Katy trail. There was a place for our bikes when we got there. We were able to enjoy the wineries for a little bit and then had a nice comfortable bed waiting for us when we got back. Staying at the Swan Haven made our visit to Augusta that much more. When we woke up there was a delicious breakfast waiting for us. We really couldn’t have been happier. Thank you for the great experience!

Upon entering, you will discover a very clean and comfortable environment. There is very interesting old and new architecture and a large deck on the back that is perfect for morning coffee and evening wine and the view is a lush peaceful green setting. We sat on the deck and watched hummingbirds. Owners Jacqui and Gene are very nice and fun to talk to and offered us wine in the evening. Rooms have ensuite bathrooms and good lighting. Jacqui makes a very good breakfast. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and this will be our first choice when we return.

This Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located in Augusta, MO near numerous wineries. Gene and Jackie were so kind and tried to make our stay perfect. We stayed in the scenic suite and it was very nice and spacious. The back deck, grounds, and hot tub were amazing extras. It was a short distance to the Katy Trail. The breakfast was very good. I would stay here again.

Gene and Jacqui made us feel at home in their beautiful home. This was, as another respondent stated, the best B&B we have stayed at. Take time to look around at the great details and antiques. Although we could not made late breakfast, they fixed some early things for us. We were disappointed that we could not join them in having breakfast. We assume many people prefer to leave lealy on the hot summer days although the ride is short the last day of the Katy Trail ride We also suggest having a TV in each room. Also, be prepared to climb very steep hills to get to and from anywhere in Augusta.
