Suwannee River Motel

I've stayed at the Swanne River motel many times and would go back and recommend that motel to everyone, always relaxing, friendly staff, very helpful and clean environment, beautiful grounds and landscaping, and the beautiful river right behind with awesome areas to sit and enjoy, even a boat dock, when I go stay again maybe this time rent the cabins out back on the river

I've stayed at the Swanne River motel several times and every time is pleasant, customer service is friendly and nice, the property & landscaping is beautiful, and the river out back is breathtaking, very relaxing

We heard about this hotel on TV’s Motel Rescue and had to take a tour. It’s on a beautiful piece of property with almost an 100’ view overlooking the Suwannee River. The sunsets are incredible. They’re still in the midst of their renovations but we loved what we saw. The lobby blends comfortable chic with retro decor details… it’s so welcoming. The rooms are somewhat spacious being beautifully decorated with natural woods, soft blues and earth tones and white accents. The rear of the property overlooks the river and has open and covered seating areas for two or larger groups to enjoy the sunset or just relax and be social. Hello folks , We 2 seniors and my for real service dog were treated quite rudely by trying to simply book a room . The lady representing this establishment told us she wouldn’t allow pets . We explained Alex is not a pet I’m handicap Alex was PRESCRIBED by my doctor after my kidney transplant ! ! 🙏🏻 To no avail she wouldn’t listen to the fact that this is a FEDERAL ADA service animal ACT and protected by LAW . In closing we would not recommend this motel to anyone. Not because she and they wouldn’t book us . ( Because of the lack of professionalism and conduct unbecoming.

We came up from Ft. Myers for a family reunion. My brother and I hadn't seen some family members for over 15 yrs. Our 3 nite stay was great! We stayed in 1 of the newly remodeled rooms with a deck attached. The staff including grounds keeper and house cleaning couldn't have been nicer. We knew it wasn't going to be the Ritz Carlton...that's not what Old Town is about!! The grounds where beautifully kept up and colorful. I've traveled around little bit and stayed in 600 a nite rooms. I was very pleased with the accommodations and totally recommende staying here if ever out in the land the time hasn't touched....
