Surf Inn Hotel - Hollywood

Honestly a cool, colorful and quirky place in an area dominated by lavishness. The rooms are very clean, quiet and safe. The room we stayed in included a small kitchen complete with refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, etc, made for spending an entire season in. The hotel is situated right off the beach in a safe, quieter part of town yet about a 10-15 minute walk from everything Hollywood has to offer.

We stayed in room #2, it is very spacious. The bed is large and the air conditioning is great. There is a kitchen with refrigerator. The place is steps from the beach. I like the rocking chairs on the front porch, we didn't sit in them because it was so hot when we were there for July 4th weekend, but they seem nice if it was cooler. ||||Isabel was very easy to deal with. We love the Broadwalk, it is at the south end of the Broadwalk, a bit away from the hustle and bustle but still easily within walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. We would definitely book Surf Inn again.

We booked this room for the price and location. First of all, the location cannot be beat. We were less than a block from the beach and could see it and the Broadwalk from the front porch and Fort Lauderdale and other areas of interest were a short drive away. If we had questions or needed recommendations, the host was quick to reply.||||Now, for the less than desirable . . .|| We did not realize that this was an old motel or that half of the units are long-term residents and half are rented out by the night. We expected a more typical AirBnB experience. || When we arrived, the key to our room was just left on the kitchen table for us and our door was left unlocked. Note: there is no office or staff and the front and back doors to this facility are wide open at all times. Pe

My wife and I had wished to find a relatively inexpensive hotel in the Miami area for New Years week, our anniversary and late honeymoon. I wasn't looking for the Fountainbleu nor the Four Seasons, just something nice and simple, a short distance from the beach and the numerous kosher restaurants that Miami offers. We are orthodox Jews. I booked this hotel because it's right on the beach, and despite it's 2-star amenity rating it got excellent reviews. Right after I booked I did a google search for orthodox synagogues nearby, expecting to have to drive a few miles to find one. I didn't realize that there is a shul right around the corner. We weren't staying over shabbat, but I could imagine us doing so easily-The hotel is within the eruv. There's a stove top and a fridge if we wished to do

My husband and I got married there on the BEACH! We spent the best time with our family and friends Isabel Thank you so much the BEST VACATION we went BOOGIE BOARDING MY son loved that! Beautiful Sunrises and gorgeous sunsets the Peace of the Ocean. I just miss that!
