SureStay Plus by Best Western McGuire AFB Jackson

The hotel was only 10 miles from our temporary jobsite, so convenient. As we both are prior military, we appreciated their military friendly decor. Check in was easy, room clean, and after a hard day's work, the bed was extremely comfortable. Went into deep REM sleep. Excellent breakfast, staff friendly. Would have stayed another day, but event rained out, so we moved on to our next appointments. Recommended.

This was second stay here since August. I was unaware that the FF was going through some sort of renovation, but my room on the second floor was fine. Staff was polite, check-in and check-out was flawless. Breakfast was great too. The semi-feral cat 🐈‍⬛ outside was amusing. He or she is well fed 😀 My only concern, thus not five stars, is the weed and vape odor in the lobby, elevator, pretty much all the common areas. I'm not sure I would bring my family here for that. I couldn't stand the smell myself. Overall, the hotel is a great value at a good location for me near the Toms River area where I needed to be.

It's under construction and I guess that's why the rate is very reasonable, it has everything that a single traveler needs, hot water, ok internet, cable good, gym can be functional and breakfast, I hope it's a bit better, other than that, it's ok place to stay and that's why I have booked for another night...

It's by and large a decent cheaper hotel. I needed a place to crash while my kids attended a weekend camp. Spent a lot of time in the room. The rooms were great. I'd stay here again.

Update: The hotel charged my card an additional $100, which I disputed with my bank Update again: After reversing the previous charge, they charged my card again, absolutely unhinged Horrible experience, most staff here was good, but the front desk guy, there’s something wrong with him. His attitude was enough to make the whole experience negative The hotel 5x charged my card for the deposit, when I asked about it, the only thing they would tell me is call my bank. I asked him for copies of the receipts, and got very upset when I noticed that they did purchases, not pre-authoritarian for the deposit. I asked to speak to another manager because he didn’t seem to understand, but that just upset him more. Unfortunately, there was cockroaches and stinkbugs in the room, it reeked of cigar
