SureStay Plus by Best Western Keyser

I stay here A LOT for work and the staff are always friendly and the rooms are cozy, it's a great little hotel. They even put out freshly baked cookies in the lobby in the afternoon :)

Positive: The hotel and rooms were clean. The hotel staff was very informative and cordial. I would stay here again. Negative: Noisy neighbors! They were very noisy at midnight, and didn't calm down until about 2:00 am

Mediocre hotel at best. Poor for the price I paid. The AC units shut off at night (no matter which setting/fan I chose) so the room was stuffy. And it seemed to shut off every time we left, so we were welcomed to a stuffy room. Breakfast choices were ok, not great for the price we paid. Breakfast staff was excellent, though. ||Note for the area - if you have Verizon cellphones, coverage in that area is absolutely awful. I couldn’t even get a google map to pull up. Bad if you need navigation help!

My wife and I were up visiting her parents. We chose to stay at the SureStay Best Western. After driving another motel that had some undesired individuals hang out in the parking lot. We were not disappointed at all. The room was clean and had coffee available along with a great view of the surrounding community. It is within walking distance to Walmart and a few restaurants. When we return to Keyser we will gladly be staying again.

We were told it was our fault our room was not cleaned! First day we got back, our room had not been cleaned. The night manager was surprised and did everything he could to help by taking the trash and getting us clean towels. Next morning we spoke to the manager who informed us that it was our fault because we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door at 7am. Apparently she does a walk in the morning when she gets there and if the sign is up they don't clean. We slept in and the sign was taken down at 8am when we went out for the day...but they never bother to check again. No apology, no effort to try and correct it. The location of this hotel is excellent but since there is no competition nearby they have very little reason to offer any customer service.
