SureStay by Best Western Sarasota Lido Beach

We loved our stay here! Our room was surprisingly large, and comfortable. The pillows and comforter were very soft, exactly what you’d expect from an expensive luxury hotel. Parking is free, and convenient, and the staff greeted us warmly every day. Everything in the room was clean, and everything worked, and the mini fridge was large, (with a nice little freezer section!). 10/10, and we will definitely choose SureStay again.

The hotel is more or less okay.Pros: within walking distance of the airport (about a 10-minute walk), and a spacious room.Cons: a strong mold smell in the room, hot water takes a long time to heat up, and the breakfast is very basic.Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel, as the price was quite low.

The ladies in the office were delightful and helpful in every way. The continental breakfast offered a broad range of choices. The room (103) was clean, and the towels and linens were fresh. The window shades provided complete privacy. The king-size bed was most comfortable with ample blankets. The air conditioning system met expectations. Both the wall safe and one bedside lamp were non-operational. Perhaps a few finishing touches could be made to the bath tub/shower to remove old caulk to provide a more eye-appealing and professional look. No other facilities were utilized. The cost was very fair.

The location was perfect. It's on a well-lit street near many attractions, stores, and restaurants. The area around the hotel seemed safe and well-lit. The photos online don't do the hotel justice. The manager said they just modernized the rooms and put new mattresses, so it was much nicer than I expected for the low price I paid. It was also less expensive than other hotels on the same street. I stayed at 2 other hotels on the same street in the past and paid more but this hotel was the best all around. The room was really big and had a sofa, desk, refrigerator, and microwave. The bed was very comfortable with many different size bed pillows of different thicknesses which was appreciated. The comfortor on the bed was full and fluffy. I'll give 3 out of 5, pros; the price available was good, clean unit smelled fresh. King bed cuffortable. Cons; close to road loud mufflers in FlA.,1st floor unit can hear people walking and creaking noises above. Some bath towels had stains. TV not that good.
