Superior Lakeside Cabins

So very disappointed with the experience trying to book with the new owners. I stayed here regularly under the old management and had no issues and was excited to find open cabin for a long weekend and booked as always online and got the email that we'd hear from them within 3 days to confirm and collect payment information - never got an email. Waited full 3 days, then a few more thinking they could just be busy - nothing. Sent emails, left voicemails, AND texted as noted in the initial confirmation email and still no response. Ended up saying forget it and booked elsewhere. This location is amazing, we had been planning a larger family trip here next summer that would have resulted in 2-3 cabins being booked at the same time to accommodate and now I have zero confidence they will respon

Our reservation was in the Corrymeela unit. A side by side unit. We have stayed in the cabins several times before but not this one and it was a dump. We had the unit reserved for 2 nights and never stayed there. Nothing about it was good. The kitchen is a joke and the sink is about 12 inches by 12 inches not big enough to wash a dish in. And it was disgusting. I have never given a review before but I felt compelled to write this so someone else's trip wouldn't be ruined.|Margaret

We rented a Cabin for 4 days. It was located on Lake Superior. Completely ready to go. Bedding, bath and kitchen appliances and cookware. Just need your personal items and food. There is a fire pit/grill, no air conditioning (in the one we stayed in). Centrally located to all parks. Slightly older but well maintained and clean.

There is no better place for a traditional cabin getaway on Lake Superior. My family has been coming here regularly over the years. We've celebrated milestones (our wedding) or just escaped from our everyday world. Here are the five reasons you should stay here: 1. Location. Lakeside really means right by The Lake. Newer places may be sleek with modern amenities, but you can't match having your own sliver of lakeshore right out your door. 2. Location. The sound of The Lake is mysterious and soothing, and you don't have to stumble down a trail to catch the sunrise. You wake to the sound of loons and other birds. Absolutely love that not only is it right on the lake and affordable but that it is also dog friendly. That's a huge perk for me. Perfect location if you want to head North or South. It's definitely an original cabin and shows some wear but that just adds to the charm. My only hang up is the communication. It's hard to get ahold of someone to pay. Hopefully at some point they can get an online payment system up and running. This was my third year returning to Superior Lakeside Cabins and it never gets old. My pups and I had the best time.
