Super 8 by Wyndham Wayne

Pulling up into the parking lot. The outside of the hotel was very clean looking on the outside with no garbage on the ground… Walking into check out was a pleasant atmosphere... Check in was easy, and they were very accommodating. The gentleman was very nice and polite, and our rooms were exceptionally clean! When we asked for an ice bucket the gentleman Had them in our rooms. By the time we got back.Like I said, they are very accommodating, and Clean absolutely recommend this place, and would stay here again.

Terrible!!!!! Absolutely terrible . Rooms are dirty, dated and the whole place needs to be renovated. Our first room the air conditioner didn’t work and the bathroom looked as if it haven’t been properly cleaned in weeks, the second room smelled funky. The beds have old , see thru sheets on the bed and the blankets were fleece blankets. Not professional or sanitary. We checked out the next day!!!! My sister stayed in another room and ended up getting bit by bed bugs. She also checked out the next morning. There is old furniture in the rooms that looks like it was in the owners personal home and he brought it in when he was done using it. If I could give 0 stars I would have. Please don’t stay there.

Stayed at Super 8, Wayne, NE for a tour of the Wayne State Film and Media department, which is Great, by the way. The motel was clean and low cost. My room was also clean and quiet, but the toilet had a bad stain, needs nuked. The complimentary breakfast was very limited, bananas, cereal, yogurt and Danish rools. The bad part was I reported to the desk clerk that the milk was sour, and he did nothing about it. Outrageous !

Edit (1/7/26): after weeks and numerous attempts at requesting a receipt for my stay at the hotel, I've finally given up (and will not be able to expense this work stay). Multiple calls and emails and lots of waste time to get a receipt have amounted to nothing despite their assurances I would receive it via email. It's such a simple request and I've tried so many times. It's indicative of their customer service approach, which is to ignore issues and minimize effort/cost while not meeting customer requests. Despite being in a location I need to be at, I will specifically book a hotel further away lodging to avoid this establishment. Positive: I stayed at this location several years ago for business and found it satisfactory then Negative: Sheets on bed were stained. Toilet valve "whistled" about 50 percent of time.
