Super 8 by Wyndham Washington/Peoria Area

Only hotel we have ever walked out of before staying.. He told us our king room was destroyed. Tried to give us 2 regular beds. Absolutely not. Then was told we could have a upgrade to king bed with a sofa. Would just have to wait 5 to 7 minutes to get it cleaned. Boy that will be clean that fast. We went to room,toilet don't flush right 1/4 roll of toilet paper. Tv didn't work . Went back down and told him not to charge us. Was told they ran the card at 3 pm. Tried to check in at 630. 5 days later still haven't been reimbursed. Was told by someone living there that they don't bother cleaning rooms till people check in. Disgusting

Immediately found dirty laundry in the bathroom. The bathroom was filthy. There was no plug for the tub drain. No Kleenexes. Found used hair ties on the floor. Outlet by the sink didn't work well enough to use the blow dryer. Only the bottom receptacle of another outlet worked well enough to use. 1 light fixture didn't work. It smelled like Marijuana every day. They were doing it next to cars because you could smell it in the vehicle every time we got in. The continental breakfast included a couple types of cereal, milk and orange juice. Bring your own pillows. Unable to use the internet. The bed was comfortable.

Positive: M/A Negative: Very unsanitary conditions at the continental breakfast area and poorly stocked. No housekeeping, the staff was rarely available.

Booked hotel for 7 nights mainly due to proximity of nearby relatives. Booking.com advised that 1pm access was available and I confirmed this with the Hotel on- line checkin facility prior to arrival. |Not impressed with exterior of hotel as the car park had broken and cracked concrete with weeds growing between cracks. The reception/breakfast area was| small and needed complete overhaul . When we arrived no-one was on reception, waited excessive time for someone to come following a phone call. Our booked room was not available at 1pm but not until 3pm This after a long flight and drive from Chicago.|After a long heated discussion with two men one of whom was Duwanne. we were told that they could not cancel the booking as it had to be done by Booking.com. Absolutely disgusting... smelly rooms, gross blankets from 1960. That have not been washed since 1960 either. No TV service. Toilet disgusting as well, dirty bathrooms, moldy shower curtain. There was a ring around the tub, the likes I've never seen. There were some sort of wrappers on the floor, the bed skirt was stained with who knows what, the electrical outlets did not work. The air conditioner full of mold and dust. Windows on first floor did not lock. This place should be condemned...seriously.. never even slept here, it was so gross we just left....lamps shades yellow from smoke. It stank so bad of smoke, I wanted to puke..
