Super 8 by Wyndham Waco/Mall area TX

I stayed at the Wyndham Super 8 and had a solid overall experience. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked as expected, which is really what you want from a budget hotel. Check-in and check-out were quick and straightforward, and the staff was polite and helpful. The property is clearly no-frills, but it’s well maintained for the price point. The location was convenient, and the parking was easy. The complimentary breakfast was basic but adequate, and the Wi-Fi was reliable during my stay. While the rooms and amenities are simple and a bit dated in places, the hotel delivers good value for the cost. If you’re looking for an affordable, dependable place to sleep without unnecessary extras, this Super 8 does the job well. Four stars.

Staff were helpful and nice but the rooms were uncomfortable. There were crumbs and hair in the bed, and hot water didn't work properly. Pretty sure it's haunted too, got random calls around 3 am (did not ask for a wake up call, especially not at that hour) I was on the second floor and kept hearing people upstairs up at that hour, but when I went out in the morning, I realized there wasn't a third floor.

Positive: The price was right. It also was one of the closest motels to where my car was towed for repairs. Negative: Nothing that I did not mention to the day staff. A couple of minor issues which he took note and thanked me for informing him.

Basic affordable stay….comfortable king bed. No usb ports provided…continental breakfast provided with prepackaged danish, honey buns, apple and coffee.

I stayed one night for work. The place was clean, everything worked and looked good, the bed was quite comfortable, and best of all was the air conditioning system, which worked very well for both heating and cooling and was quite quiet (usually that's the biggest drawback in hotels of this type). The internet is quite good and not limited to a certain number of devices. It was definitely perfect for a business stay, and the price was ideal. I would stay there again.
