Super 8 by Wyndham Schenectady/Albany Area

The Hotel is conveniently located near the highway, and tucked away enough to feel away from hustle and bustle. The Staff was super friendly and accommodating and even when I was having stress they seemed to be able to put a smile on my face with their understanding and professionalism. The rooms are cozy and we'll maintained and its a great value especially if you have Wyndham rewards! Another great stay at the Super duper 8, SCHENECTADY.

Great affordable spot. All of the staff is fantastic and helpful! I stayed one night to break up a road trip and it was such a comfortable evening. Wifi was plenty fast enough for streaming. Lots of food options within a 5 min drive and easy access to the highway to start my trip again the next day. I got cold and asked for extra blankets and they brought them within a minute. The heater also works great, the room got to of natural light and the beds were comfortable.

I left a couple items in the room which was admittedly my fault. However when I called the first time to try to retrieve said items, a woman answered and tried to give me the run- around. I eventually got her to admit that there’s an area where they keep found items from rooms of people who hav already checked out. She said that she couldn’t access it however and needed to wait for housekeeping to get there (sounded like bologna because she had said it was just the basement where they keep them). After that I waited a day and a half and then called back and this time it was a man who answered the phone. After explaining why the issue was he tried to act like he couldn’t hear me. I told him that I wasn’t going to play that game with him and that I had 4 bars on my service gauge. All of a su

Positive: Although the area around hotel looked sketchy. It was very quiet & no issues. No loud noises at night. 2 gas stations located across from hotel super convenient. Hallways smelled like bleach,cleaning was taking place. No bugs!!!!😊 room clean Negative: The breakfast options were horrible. The fridge was placed above the closet area. Had to climb on top of chair to have access to it!

The price per night was only sixty seven dollars. You don't expect a lot at that price, but it was good for the price. They were very accommodating to a pet up 200 pounds which looks like a misprint in there advertising. I had a sixty five pound labrador retriever, which is a problem for some hotels that are pet friendly. The free breakfast was low quality and limited choices. I will use this place again.
