Super 8 by Wyndham Phillips

We recently stayed an entire week here. We had a great stay. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. We can't say enough good things about Angie, Melissa, and Jessie. Beginning with the check in process, requesting more towels, or just simply asking questions the girls were always right there. The breakfast was beyond expectations and the modern ice machine was nice as well. The Dollar General directly across the street was extremely handy. It was a very fresh, clean, cozy environment. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

I'm really not trying to be super picky, just stating the facts from our stay. My elderly sister and I (I'm 72) traveled to 35 states this summer and I know we would have appreciated a heads' up on some of the properties we booked, so here goes:|Pros: There were bunnies in the grass outside in the evening and morning hours|Cons: We encountered this a LOT on our trip, and cannot figure out how a grown man could use one of these kindergarten-sized toilets like the one at this hotel, and there was nothing to grab onto to lever yourself up . . . The bathroom had broken tiles, and the tub was extremely slippery, with no grab bars in ours. The property is on ADD-friendly in other ways as well - you need to climb steps - which had weeds growing in them - to a very small porch while dragging you

Positive: The room felt very clean and modern. It felt fresh and comfortable. Everything was there - toiletries, clean sheets, towels, nice TV, air conditioner, nice bathroom, fridge. Perfect for a single person looking to stay a night in town. Negative: The lobby layout was a bit confusing to find the check-in.

We’ve booked here a couple of times, and it was always a great stay. This last time, the hotel was definitely upgraded inside. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The breakfast food was great, the coffee was great, the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel is in a convenient area as well.

I found it a bit ironic that there were so many no-smoking signs, yet when I arrived, I had to wait for the attendant to finish their cigarette before checking in. Each time I entered or left the lobby, there was also a noticeable smell of smoke. The room itself was clean, though quite dated in terms of décor. One odd detail was that the bathroom sink was right at the entrance of the room, with the actual bathroom only containing the toilet and shower. I also wasn’t a fan of the combined hand soap/body wash dispenser in the shower. Was pleasantly surprised with the good shower pressure however. Breakfast was pretty underwhelming and only pre-packaged items, cereal, waffle iron, and coffee were available when I went down. On top of that, neither the internet nor the television in our room w
