Super 8 by Wyndham, Orangeburg

The room was a little dated and the bathroom sink and tun were old but overall the room was fine. There are a lot of hotels on this road and I would guess they are all about the same caliber no matter what the price is. The bed was very comfortable. The floors were vinyl plank which makes so much sense for keeping it clean. We were traveling with a dog so that definitely influenced our choice of where to stay. Having a dog with us only added another $20 to the bill. The location is very convenient to getting on and off I 77. On the downside, there wasn't a good area to walk the dog.

the first thing you smell is cigarettes and urine. went to check in and was told because i had a third adult my rate would be changed by the hotel (even though i booked online) then told me they couldnt cancel for me because i booked online so he can change my rate i already paid but not cancel the booking? absolutely rude and undisclosed charges is illegal.

Great budget friendly, pet friendly and pleasant stay. Staff was excellent, room as clean as other hotels in area I paid $130 a night for and NO CARPET!! Yes, you have to walk about 50 feet to get to the grassy area for your pet but all was good. Breakfast was good and hot, (need syrup for french toast). I will be back.

Our first floor room was clean. The water in the shower was HOT. The hot breakfast in the morning was better than expected. The room smelled like curry, and I never did get the TV to work, but overall it was a great value for the price paid. I would stay here again.
