Super 8 by Wyndham Luverne I90

The rooms stink of mildew and are very much not safe. The shower curtain rod was falling off and had obvious (though horrible) repairs attempting to fix it. The shower head was rusted out and needed to be replaced months ago. The only plug in that was readily available was broken and couldn't hold anything. The metal conduit holding the other plug in was rusted and showing sighs of arking. The walls have poorly repaired holes and peeling paint. Where there have been attempts to repaint the color very obviously doesn't match. The bed skirts had bodily fluid stains, and the sheets were yellowed. The mattress was comfortable at least.

Always a nice quiet place to stay. Would be nice if they would have fresh milk. Each time we stay the milk isn't fresh. Better unstained towels would look more pleasing. Housekeeping shouldn't knock before 9 am. They disturb sleep. Maybe wait til right before check out time. We have til 11am. Otherwise they are always nice checking in and out.

Very musty smell throughout the hotel and room, made me concerned for mold issues. Breakfast was in a very small room and didn't have many options available. Room wasn't the cleanest and parts definitely didn't look finish with a remodel. Honestly one of the worst Super 8's I've stayed in and I've been to a lot.

Great stay. Great employees. A little further from big brand grocery stores like Walmart but only a 30 minute drive to the bigger Sioux Falls area in South Dakota. Prices are good as well. WiFi and Smart TVs.

Positive: Housekeeper was very nice and had the room and bath clean as it could be. Negative: Windows , big gaps between the sliding windows? So bad it let the smoking area smoke in the room, no way to lock the windows. The morning manager accused me of smoking in the room. I am a smoker. Fix window and maybe smoke wouldn't come in.
