Super 8 by Wyndham Latham/Albany Troy Area

I stayed at Super 8 Latham for a short trip, and it was a good budget option. The location is convenient, close to highways, dining, and shopping.||||The check-in was quick, and the staff was friendly. The room was basic but clean, with a comfortable bed, TV, fridge, and microwave. It could use some updates, but for the price, it was fine. The breakfast was simple, and Wi-Fi was reliable.||||Overall, it’s a solid choice for a no-frills stay, nothing fancy, but functional and affordable.

I would give this hotel 0 stars but google won’t let me. Do not stay here it’s disgusting. I was in Albany visiting and got a room here. The bed sheets had a big pee stain on it and there was blood stains on it too. It even smells like pee . The bathroom had no shower curtain. I called the front and the guy came to look @ it to confirmed. He moved us into another dump because that 1 also had dirty sheets. We left immediately. Will never go here again. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Location gets higher marks because it was 10 minutes away from where I was going."Breakfast" consisted of some prepackaged small muffins; coffee was okay. Wasn't expecting a full sit down eggs/bacon, but I think a few Hostess muffins hardly constitutes "Breakfast".My main issue was the the Express Check-in. I did the whole pre-check in online to save time and avoid a whole lot of hassle as I was on a tight timeline before I was out the door to where I needed to be. Got confirmation that the pre-check in was completed. However, when I arrived the desk clerk gave me a check-in list to complete, even though it was already done. I informed her that I had already done this, and showed her the confirmation but evidently she didn't know where to look to find this information. So I wasted 10

Overall, it was a great stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered excellent value for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout.||||There was a slight delay at check-in due to an ID requirement from the local government. At first, we were frustrated, but once we understood the policy, we felt better. We felt bad about being a bit harsh, but the staff handled it with patience and a smile, which we really appreciated.||||In the end, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd definitely recommend this place for a budget-friendly stay with great service.

Arrived on time, given the room key, went to the room and it wasn’t ready after the previous customer left. Got another room. Its bathroom sink was flooded, fridge wasn’t clean, it had water standing at the bottom. Floor was sticky throughout the room. Location is the only thing that was great.
