Super 8 by Wyndham Ithaca

I stayed at the Super 8 Motel to stay safe during recent snow storm. The person at the desk was very helpful, gave me an automatic AAA discount (saved me 10%). They also plowed the parking lot, and dug my car out from the snow. I really appreciate the good service 🙏

While the hotel is clean enough and the beds comfortable enough, the breakfast was horrid: extremely bitter discount coffee, watered OJ, watered-down waffle batter that runs out of the waffle-maker when its time to flip (we avoided the free breakfast and went out to eat after the first day). The faucets in the bathroom were plumbed backwards (cold to the left, hot to the right) as well. Given availability at another (more expensive) hotel, I'd book that instead. It is possible to have quality and budget, but not here.

Positive: It was a convenient location Negative: It was not the cleanest and smelled like industrial cleaner through the whole hotel. The walls are also very thin and you could hear all the other rooms like you were in the room with them. It was fine for what you paid, but not the greatest.

Very clean an friendly environment. Great location to Wine country. Very friendly staff an great value for the money. We will definitely go back and would recommend. If they could change anything it would be a better breakfast. It was just coffee, juice, toast and they had a waffle maker. But there is a Wegmans right across the street that you can walk to.

I booked Super 8 by Wyndham Ithaca through Expedia, expecting a property that matched the Wyndham branding and photos. The original reservation at another hotel was canceled last minute due to water issues, and I ended up paying for two nights at a high rate ($848 total, plus taxes) because I had no time to rebook during my trip.||||Upon arrival around midnight, the hotel appeared deteriorated and poorly maintained. There was no water available, not even in the vending machine. Public areas and the room showed noticeable dirt and wear.
