Super 8 by Wyndham Iola KS

I was Traveling w/ my 88yr old disabled grandma and my 64yr old mom and our 3 small dogs while visiting family in the area. We needed something that could accommodate a wheelchair and other necessary needs for them. I've stayed at super 8 motels traveling before and haven't ever really had an issues but this one was really great! They offered a roll bed for me so I didn't have to share with one of them but I brought my queen size air bed and I had space in the room to inflate it so I didn't use the roll bed. My mom and grandma were cold in there with the ac on while I was burning up and they gladly gave us extra blankets, pillows, sheets and towels. The shower was clean w/ good pressure, the room was clean, breakfast was good. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful i

The night clerk did not greet us. The pool was freezing. The hot tub was lukewarm. There were no pool towels in the pool area. There was what appeared to be a broken heat/air unit against the wall in the pool area. ||There was damage to the wall in the bathroom and damage to the ceiling in the room. The WiFi was at one bar and kept dropping. This is supposed to be the best of the three motels in Iola. It's a sad reflection on the Wyndham brand.

Positive: The location is excellent. Negative: The motel needs to be remodeled as it is getting pretty rundown.

The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. The guestroom was spotless and comfortable, and the overall hotel appearance was neat and welcoming. The washrooms and common areas were very clean, with hand sanitizers available throughout the property. The internet worked well and was reliable during my stay. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations.

my mother and me stayed 2 nights when are water foze my mom is 80 and she fall the guy at the front desk and his wife help me with my Mom get her up the kindness and care they us is over whelming it was the best stay i ever had in a they’re knowing that no matter what happens that we have care and kindness with such kind people I really enjoyed my stay. I will be back in my mom‘s 80 on her last days. She’s not doing very good, but it meant a lot to me, knowing that there are so kind and caring but thank you for your time Sheri Hall
