Super 8 by Wyndham Grapevine/DFW Airport Northwest

Positive: Staff was friendly and my room was very clean. Negative: Room walls were thin and could easily hear folks next room over into late in the evening. Room was too close to the lobby and heard conversations and early morning staff preparing the breakfast area. U

I was booked this room through my employer during extreme weather conditions over this past weekend. I will begin by saying that staff was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable, so this review will be based solely on the accomodations. I'll begin with the BAD: the room had a musty smell upon entry. The room, however, was clean and presentable. The microwave was LOUD when used, the refrigerator would also make noises randomly throughout our entire stay as well. The 3rd night I was there a water leak from upstairs began to drain into my bathroom via the fart fan, which was due to the upstairs toilet OVERFLOWING. The water eventually stopped but only because the ENTIRE WATER SERVICE was shut OFF to the whole hotel, impacting everyone. I asked to be moved to another room at which time I was to

This was a great location - Great option for price point - Would stay again. I put in a work order for the shower faucet and it was fixed immediately. My room was always put back into place and clean when I would come back at the end of the day.

Single father of 2 kids under 7 so I went for the cheaper price but still decent looking, currently on my 2nd night here and the first floor reeks likes marijuana in the rooms around 130’s. It’s clear the staff allows it. I definitely would not recommend staying here unless you’re ok with smelling marijuana in your room all night.

This is NOT an airport hotel - they do NOT have an airport shuttle. The website is wrong and they refused to offer any alternative or any compensation. Edit: The response below is absurd. We did get in touch with management through the front desk to explain the only reason we booked the hotel was because we had an overnight layover and it had a free shuttle. Instead we had to pay over $50 round trip in Ubers to get to and from this hotel. The hotel didn’t care. Obviously, we will not be staying here again. This cheap hotel with smoky smelly rooms is not worth it. Stay somewhere more reliable!
