Super 8 by Wyndham Eddyville/Kuttawa

Great location. Rooms are cleaned very well and front desk manager is very helpful but what I don’t like it I booked a week stay for one price and the next week the price for the same room went up by $300 but online i can book the room for the same price paid for the first week. Suppose to be staying here for 3 months and will being bring another 30 guys to stay but if they can’t stick to their prices and can’t keep their word to what they post online I’ll have to move my crew to another location. Hoping to get the price situation corrected so we can support this hotel and owner.

The accommodation was very good, beds comfortable everything was clean and neat! Breakfast was not so much! Waffle was watered down and Waffles were essentially hollow. Only coffee to drink which I do not drink. over all good overnight stay and would come back!

Positive: Location Negative: Terrible breakfast, flickering bathroom fluorescent light, noisy AC, unpleasant check-in staff

The hotel lobby and much of the hallways smell like cigarette smoke. We could even smell it in our room. The pull out couch was needed for our kids to sleep on and it was broken. One of the corners didn’t have anything holding up the mattress. They ended up having to sleep on it sideways. The light switches and outlets were filthy like someone got some kid of sauce all over them. We also had a “kitchenette” room which did have a little room for the kitchen. It had cabinets and a little sink, even a spot under the cabinet for the fridge, but yet the microwave and fridge were out in the main area. The bathroom door also didn't lock.

Got the hot tub room and that was fine. A couple of the jets were a little low on pressure. Enjoy that my TV was equipped with DirecTV so I could watch my sports team. What's not fine is the housekeeping and cleanliness. Things like obvious smudges on the mirrors and stains on the sheets. I also killed 2 cockroaches. Always a tell-tale sign that the owner is cheap and lazy when a motel property has an insect problem.
