Super 8 by Wyndham Duson Lafayette West Area

July 26, 2025 is the night we stayed. Was driving across country with my niece and daughter. We needed a place to stay and saw it was $68.91 plus had a pool. When we arrived pool was closed and we were told it was too hard to maintain an outdoor pool. We were told that there would be a $50 hold that would be released open checking the room. I still have the $50 pending but was also charged an extra $50 on top of what we paid for the room. There was black mold on the shower curtain as well. There were not enough towels or washcloths for all of us to shower. No tissues were available. Received one key and there were three of us, 2 adults and one child. Would not recommend and will be discussing with my bank what I can do to get the $50 back. The room was not even messy when we left.

I stayed here for 5 days paying daily. I travel all over the country, and have stayed in a lot of Windham motels. This is by far the worst I have seen. They never serviced my room. The elevator is schetchy. The laundry room has 1 washer and dryer. They charge $2 for 1 Tide pod. The proprietors are rude and speak little English. The TV barely operates. And the lobby coffee is non-existent. When asked they gave me a coffee package and told me to make my own. I only stayed as long as I did out of necessity. I will never stay here again. And I recommend no one else does.

Positive: Location Negative: There was 9 burn holes in the on the blanket(no smoking room). Toilet was not flushing and they handed me a plunger.( that did not take care of the proble., they had to use a snake). Stained towels, roaches and green pool.

Nice roon, clean. Staff was amazing. Great location right off the freeway. Very quiet!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My daughter was traveling home and got stuck by the rain. She checked into the motel. She video called me to show me the room. She pulled the sheets back on the bed and there were yellow and brown stains on the mattress plus hair. The dust ruffle cover over the bottom mattress had dirt, hair, and other debris on it. We think we saw bedbugs on the mattress but my daughter jumped back from the bed because it freaked her out. It was absolutely disgusting. The bath tub still had water in it and hair. This leads me to believe the room was not even cleaned. She looked behind the bed and found glowsticks, and pieces of trash from a party. The carpet had dark stains on it.
