Super 8 by Wyndham Centerville

WARNING Super 8vshould be ashamed of itself to let this facility have their brand. If I didn't have my exhausted elderly mother along we would have demanded a refund and left. Door- No safety lock (half of a broken one still mounted) Carpets absolutely filthy with stains and obvious decay from like the 70s The room smell was of an old ashtray. The walls had cover-up repaint spots the ceiling was glitter spray painted.. The bathroom was like a time warp. the mirror, counterand sink area was modernand nice but the bathtub was very very old with house painted over the tub and walls in attempt to cover the mold and rust. The faucet was falling out of the wall (no exaggeration) The air-conditioned smelled awfulness the whole plastic shell fell to the ground when my husband tried to adjust it

Room smelled bad, but it was clean. Not that comfortable, but it's Super 8 so what do you expect. Reservation and check-in process was very complicated and slow because of staff mistakes. Breakfast was not worth any money.

Front desk staff extremely accommodating and friendly. Room was clean upon arrival. Room was cold and took a long time to heat up. Thought heater was broke for first 6 hours however it finally caught up and proved acceptable. Was there from Thursday till Sunday was disappointed as no room service was ever given or offered. I e bed made, towels refreshed, trash emptied, etc ..None also tub kept clogging up every time I showered. Wasn't immediate but eventually you were standing in water. :( Continental breakfast was given and much appreciated. Food was good and area clean. Kudos! All in All for the price and area this is in my opinion the best value in Centerville.

I arrived on Pancake Day weekend to find that I had mistakenly reserved the wrong night. It was 9:00 pm and every motel in town was booked solid. Somehow, Brittany found me a room while simultaneously switching rooms for another party who needed a bigger room. She did all of this with charm and finesse. She even helped this older gentlemen get his luggage upstairs. The room was clean, spacious, and and the mattress was quite comfortable. It's still a Super 8 but has improved considerably since I last visited Centerville in 2012.
