Super 8 by Wyndham Buffalo

This place is ABSOLUTELY filthy! The rooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in months! There is food/puke/boogers….who knows stuck all over the walls. The bedding has some “white” stains all over it. There is dirt piled in every corner of the room. Hairballs on the bathroom floor. It smells absolutely awful in the room. Absolutely do NOT recommend staying here. And there is no breakfast like it says on their site.

Hotel was very dated. There was a tumbleweed in the hallway. The carpet in the hallway was thread bare in spots and patched in others. The hallway was dingy and dark. It definitely needed painted. The room appeared to be clean but was dated as well. There was a microwave and fridge. The TV was quality and worked well. The tolietries provided in the bathroom had been opend and appeared to just be refilled small, personal size bottles. The toliet paper was a miniture roll and very hard....think brown paper towel consistency. The night desk person was friendly and efficient. He was very quick at finding rooms for those of us stranded because of the interstate being closed. He could have easily just locked his door as it was after 2:00am.

Positive: Compared to other Super 8's that I have stayed at, they had a desk. For those travelling and have a laptop, and need to login and check work or personal emails, etc. this makes it a whole lot more useful to people like me. Negative: ""

The staff was friendly -- everyone in Buffalo is friendly. The online check-in email said check in was a 4pm, but they let us check in at 3 when we got there. The room was fine. The toilet paper is narrow and rough (probably made from recycled paper), but we knew we were not paying $150 a night for a room, so that is not unexpected not a complaint. We went there to do some specific business, so we view the hotel as a place to sleep. The hotel is not the vacation itself. The cable TV was nice. It is too bad Cable TV has nothing of value to watch. The breakfast is (and was labeled) a "light" breakfast more than a "continental" breakfast. The location was convenient. It wasn't in the middle of downtown, but Buffalo is small so it doean't take long to get anywhere. If we go back to Buffalo,

Rooms looked great but could use updated on few things. Beds bit soft but have to say i did sleep pretty good. Only complaint I would have is the hot water took over 5 minutes of running to get hot.
