Super 8 by Wyndham Aransas Pass

If you like to spend your money more on your trip and places to see and places to eat and hate spending so much money on a room you just need to shower and rest your head from being out all day this is the place to stay. It's not bad at all and I love that it's so close to the water to go fishing or Port Aransas to go site seeing or to the beach. And they have a pool and if your a smoker walk right outside your door to smoke you don't have to walk or go far.

I booked with super 8 a week before spring break for as I know how busy the beach gets on the holidays. Upon my arrival at 3am my hotel was trashed. We had no hot water, the bed was dirty, and the microwave wasn't clean. Upon going down the the front desk the lady gave me new sheets and told me I could make My own bed. This was very unprofessional. I paid for a service i should not have to clean my own room. I told her we had no hot water and she pretty much told us to bad there are no rooms left available that we would basically have to deal with it. We had also chosen a smoke free room and our bed blankets were covered in cigarette burns and the smell of smoke. I tried finding another hotel in the area but unfortunately couldn't find any available due to it being spring break and all hot

Staff was friendly, room was nice, mini fridge did not work at all, there was complimentary shampoo but no conditioner. Housekeeping cleaned which was nice because most place don’t clean the room till you leave. Did not have a business center or kitchen like described on website but otherwise it was a nice stay. Also no breakfast because the virus but that was anticipated. Also I checked the bed and linen there was obviously no bed bugs did not see any roaches or ants so that was also really good.

I had a great stay. Too bad I stayed for one night. Receptionist was very cool. I felt welcomed. The rooms were pretty clean. We got two rooms. Mine was good but they need to replace the bath tub is very old , the paint is scraping off very bad. I was happy that they have a small laundry room.

This is an older motel, but it’s been renovated since 2017 after damage from hurricane Harvey. One feature I like is that it has rooms with both inside doors and outside doors on some rooms. Great motel for someone on a fishing trip here. The room I was in had a larger fridge with a top freezer for my blue ice.
