Sunset RV Park

Tight little sites, only a couple with worn out tables. The "host" looked like he lived there full time and had 2 sites full of trash and junk. Bathroom and shower had keynote locks but no one answered the phones so we couldn't gain access due to no codes. Finally got a code for them from a bartender downtown! Place is not maintained but we were tired and didn't feel like driving any further into the high winds that night.

Nice little local RV park. Nothing fancy but full hook ups and quiet setting. $25/night.

City pool and city park are literally 100 feet from sites-so that's great. Reliable hook ups. Quiet little town and just a handful of sites. Having said that, mid summer--horrible mosquitoes and lawn was not being taken care of very well. The city cut down large trees...and I don't think they have replanted for future generations. This tiny town has a gem here--and sadly, I'm not sure they know it. :-( Walmart/ Safeway and a few eateries about 30 minutes away in Chadron.

Small town RV Park, they recently raised the prices so it's a bit cheaper to stay in Chadron now. That said, the sites are level and the hookups are reliable.

Great stopping point 👉. We felt safe.self check in. Stop early and use the pool.
