Customer Reviews
Great family-owned motel. Rooms were very clean and operational. Room temperature was great. Microwave, fridge, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, TV with direct TV service. Parking is right next to room. Decent rates with discounted rates for repeat visits. Very comfortable beds. Dated furniture or retro if you like. Very convenient to I-40. Decent restaurants nearby. Quiet area. Nice patio for mild weather visits. Ice available, but only at the reception desk.
We were on a 21 day road trip and this was the best place we stayed. It was better than all of the Best Westerns, Days Inn and a few independents we stayed at. Parking right at the door, good heater, good bathroom with two sink areas. Nice carpet, great weather stripping on the door. Light and bright old fashioned decor, good sized room with a nice table to eat or work at. The only thing I hope they improve would be the size of the TV. Breakfast bag included a muffin and a very tasty bear claw. There are coffee pods in the room. This motel is family owned for generations. It was also the cleanest place we stayed. Just a super nice place and very reasonable.
Positive: The owner was so nice and helpful. He also recommended a great place to eat. Negative: ""
This nostalgic little Rt 66 motel is a nice break from a long day of traveling. The owner Mike and his kitty were quite welcoming. A complimentary breakfast bag with a pastry and a couple of cuties came with our very clean & spacious room. The beds are soft, the water has a good pressure and can get very hot. The entire room inside and out is clean, especially the bathroom. There are plenty of comfy towels and extra blankets. The heat in the room works very well and the room is pretty sound deadening from the outside noises. There is a small electric charging station. Parking is assigned to each room so you can be sure to park in front of your window. There is also enough space to the side to park a pick-up with trailer. We love the sweet touches like the kisses and rubber ducky and pla
Returning from an east coast road trip with my wife, I needed to slow down our trip - I was trying to get from Toronto to Phoenix in too few days, driving times were too long per day, especially for my wife. So I found this little place after a (google) web search (of course). What a hoot! It's everything you remember about traveling when you were a kid, except this place is lovingly maintained and clean-clean-clean. There's nothing fancy about the rooms (we got the "Superior Double Queen Room" though we didn't need that, because the smaller rooms were already booked when I finally decided we had better stop in New Mexico). But the AC split system (in heating mode, we were there January 4th) was effective and super quiet - and it was on before we got to the room, so we didn't have to
