Sunset Lodge

An excellent fishing destination. We went as a group of four in January of 2025 and had a wonderful time. Guides are extremely experienced and helpful. Lodge staff were incredibly accommodating. The food at the lodge was great after a long day on the ice. Breathtaking scenery (quite literally on a chilly, sub-zero morning) everywhere you look.

I just came back from Sunset Lodge. I was there for a week with two friends fishing for musky. We have stayed here many times over the last 15 years. It never disappoints. The cabin or condos are always very clean and everything works in them. They have AC which most other lodges in this area do not. They have a fabulous restaurant with extended choices of food and an excellent full bar. The views from the restaurant and bar are fabulous. The food is very good and the service is always excellent.|We rented a boat from them and it was in good shape and we had no problems with it. THe staff is very nice and if you make any special request, they make it happen. THe dock staff is right on with helping dock your boat, unload your boat, refuel it and help you with your equipment.|It has

Best food in the north.! We have alot if options flying float planes and this where we go. Owner goes out of the way to gas us up, puts us on fish and helps us cross the border to Canada.

Our group had a great stay at Sunset. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the bar and restaurant were fantastic, and the staff was great. I wish I could give all the people working at Sunset 10 stars in is review. We're looking forward to our next trip already!

Went on my first ice fishing trip with friends that had been before. It was a great time. The food is amazing and the staff works so hard to make sure your experience is excellent. A first class operation! We caught tons of fish and I caught 27 walleyes the last day!
